Through hands on demonstrations, studio practice, and one-on-one tutoring, students will investigate the relationship of photography and painting within approaches of contemporary painting. How does each medium support their counterpart? With this theme in mind, students will create a body of work communicating their individual and/or collective perception of what painting means in the age of photography. Individual portfolio progress will be emphasized.
